China’s Big 2017

China is politically dominated by a single party and eventually state control over media, civil society, and information will impact the extent to which it’s economy can liberalize and innovate. Occurring ever five years, the Party Congress is set to take place in 2017, potentially causing substantial shifts in leadership and policy decisions.
