One China Policy

The One China Policy is a complex set of agreements which serves as the diplomatic foundation of the US-China relationship. At its’ core is the notion that Taiwan’s sovereignty remains undetermined. However, it is not to be confused with the One China Principle, outlined further here by Evan Medeiros of the Institute for Global Affairs (IGA).
