
Ransom Miller
Research Associate
Ransom Miller is a research associate in the Independent America program. His work focuses on US policy in the Indo-Pacific and the power structures of foreign policy decision-making. Ransom manages IGA’s social media presence, in addition to his roles as a researcher and writer.
Ransom joined IGA after completing his BA in Global Studies and Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. He previously worked as an intern at the Indo-Pacific strategic advisory firm BowerGroupAsia and the Department of State, where he worked in the Office of Mainland Southeast Asia. He also served as a Critical Language Scholar, studying Chinese in Tainan, Taiwan.
In his free time, Ransom enjoys reading, exploring New York City, and playing lots of Dungeons & Dragons.
